US firms Flowers Foods and Hershey will launch several new snack cakes ahead of the Halloween season under the Tasykake brand.
Kandy Bar Kakes will be available in several varieties including Hershey’s cocoa, Reese’s peanut butter and York peppermint.
Brent Bradshaw, Flowers Foods’ vice-president of marketing for cake brands described the new Kandy Bar Kakes as the “perfect addition for the Halloween season”.
"Hershey’s incredible brand recognition, along with the renowned freshness and deliciousness of Tastykake, will ensure Kandy Bar Kakes become family favourites," he added.
The products will be available in 2.1oz individual servings and five-packs priced at $1.69 and $3.99 respectively.
