US-based Ninkasi Brewing Company has begun construction work on the industrial land in Eugene, Oregon, to expand its building space and production capacity.
The expansion will add a new warehouse and cold storage facility and is expected to triple the company's production capacity, reports klcc.org.
The industrial land was formerly occupied by Tyree Oil on the corner of 2nd and Blair.
Ninkasi co-founder Jamie Floyd told the website that the company currently employs 71 people and hopes to hire another 25 next year.
"We're very proud to provide benefits and working wages and a supportive place for people to have families and share in their work projects and that's very important to Nikos and I and the entire company, that we successfully integrate our home and work lives," Floyd added.
