Agropur is investing more than $100 million in its Luxemburg plant in order to significantly increase its production capacity. This investment also improves the technology of the whey processing facility and wastewater treatment system, bringing it up to the highest environmental standards. The project is expected to be completed in 2014.
Agropur operates seven plants in the U.S., four in Wisconsin. Products from the U.S. plants continue to excel, winning numerous international distinctions at the World Championship Cheese Contest and the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest.
