Brewery Ommegang (Cooperstown, N.Y.) is reaching out to any brewers in regions hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy to offer any help it can to get them up and running again as quickly as possible. Ommegang was fortunate to sustain no significant damage during the storm.
President and CEO Simon Thorpe offered the following message to peers in the brewing industry:
"Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY, is fortunate to have been undamaged by Hurricane Sandy. After seeing the devastation wreaked across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, we’d like to offer our assistance and support to other breweries that may have suffered from the storm."
