Bharti Walmart, the joint venture between Bharti and Walmart for wholesale, business-to-business and cash-and-carry operations in India, on Wednesday launched its second Best Price Modern Wholesale store in Bhopal. Arvind Mediratta, COO, Bharti Walmart, inaugurated the store.
Spread over 53,000 sq ft, the Best Price Modern Wholesale store in Bhopal is situated at Hoshangabad Road and offers best prices with quality, hygiene, and selections, according to a press release by the company.
Mediratta said, “We have received an overwhelming response from our members in Bhopal and that convinced us to open our second Best Price Modern Wholesale store in this welcoming city. Bhopal becomes the first city in India to host two of our wholesale stores. We have invested over Rs 70 crore in Bhopal alone and are delighted to actively participate in Madhya Pradesh’s economic and social growth. This store will continue to help our business members become successful by providing them best prices on a wide assortment of quality and hygienic products - all under one roof.”
Several products available at the store have been locally sourced from Bhopal and surrounding areas, including stationery, snacks, commodities, dairy, frozen foods and bakery items. Also, some of the private label items available in the store that are sourced locally include rice, stationery, besan, idli and dosa mix, atta, pulses, edible oil, ghee, and spices.
