Rice-A-Roni has launched single-serve, microwavable, flavored rice cups, which can be consumed as a snack or a meal on its own.
The rice cups feature long grain rice, toasted vermicelli and other flavors. According to the company, they offer a convenient way to fulfil meal-time cravings for people on-the-go. Consumers can add water, microwave for 3.5 minutes and consume the flavored rice.
Rice-A-Roni cups, which are available at grocery stores across the US, are offered at a suggested retail price of $1.29 and come in three different flavors: Chicken, Creamy Four Cheese, and Cheddar Broccoli.
Rice-A-Roni is a product of PepsiCo's subsidiary, the Quaker Oats. It offers 30 different flavors of rice including Chicken, Beef, and Rice Pilaf.
