Penfolds rolls out Grange collection worth £1.2m

Penfolds, an Australia-based wine producer owned by Treasury Wine Estates, has released Grange collection in the UK with a price tag of £1.2m.

The collection includes a total of 56 bottles that were released every year from 1951 to 2007. Each bottle of the Grange collection has been signed by one of Penfolds chief winemakers including Max Schubert, John Duval and Peter Gago.

According to the company, the buyer of the collection will receive a set of 13 magnum cases, including Penfolds 2004 Bin 60A and the 2008 Bin 620 Coonawarra Cabernet-Shiraz. Besides this, they will be sent with a case of Penfolds wines every year for the next ten years.

The buyer will also be allowed to spend up to £50,000 on Penfolds wine to add to the collection.

The Grange collection is currently available for sale at Hedonism Wines, the Mayfair and London fine wine emporium.
