Core Tip: Asda chief operating officer, Judith McKenna has been promoted to a strategic and development role at parent-company Wal-Mart’s Arkansas headquarters.
Since joining the retailer in 1996, McKenna managed several departments before being appointed chief financial officer in 2001. She became chief operating officer at the end of June 2011. Before this she held financial roles at Carlsbery Tetley and spirits and wine company Allied Domecq.
