A German-style soft cheese product will debut in the U.S. market this spring.
Elli quark is similar to cottage cheese with a smooth, creamy texture and a milder flavor than Greek yogurt.
Available in five varieties, including plain, lemon, pineapple, strawberry and red velvet, elli contains 14 to 17 grams of protein and 80 to 90 calories per serving. The product is gluten-free and contains live active cultures.
Elli quark will be available starting in March in Southern California natural food retailers
