The former Smiths frontman, who is an avid animal rights activist and vegetarian, is set to perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on March 1 - and there's no meat allowed, according to Reuters.
"We respect Morrissey's lifestyle and his concern for the wishes of so many of his fans and are happy that we are able to honor his requests in this manner," Lee Zeidman, the arena's general manager, said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the news website, not only will vegetarian-friendly foods be served by the venue, but fast food chain McDonald's will not be operating during the musician's performance.
Among the meatless items offered at the arena's concession stands will be Vegan Sloppy Joes, Grilled Veggie Sandwiches, Vegan Sushi, Cheese Nachos, Veggie Burgers and more, served along with the venue's regular menu of favorites.
"I don't look upon it as a victory for me, but a victory for the animals," the "Irish Blood, English Heart" singer said earlier this week, according to the wire service.
Morrissey, born Steven Patrick Morrissey, who has been touring since October 2012, has canceled a number of his U.S. performances due to illnesses including a bleeding ulcer and suspected bladder infection.
The 53-year-old singer's Facebook page shows a number of dates that have been postponed including engagements in Denver, Colorado and San Francisco. The tour is set to resume on February 26 with six shows on the West Coast, including the sold-out Los Angeles concert at Staples Center on March 1.
The singer previously canceled a performance in Flint, Michigan, and also postponed two more shows shortly after that, according to Billboard magazine. He then canceled his tour dates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Morrissey rose to fame during the 1980s as a vocalist for The Smiths whose hits include "This Charming Man" and "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out." Morrissey went on to have a successful solo career after The Smiths broke up in 1987.
