Greenways rolls out fruit-energy drink Notty for children in India

Core Tip: Greenways Foods & Beverages, a part of Pune-based diversified business house Pushpam Group, has introduced Notty, a fruit-energy drink for children, in India.
Notty contains dietary fiber, vegetarian omega-3 essential fatty acid and vitamins A, C and E, and is sans any kind of synthetic ingredients or stimulants, claims the company.

Positioned as healthy fruit-energy drink, Notty is available in strawberry and mango flavors in a colorful packaging featuring cartoon series Chhota Bheem.

Greenways Foods & Beverages CMD Dr Sachin Chopda said: "Notty as a brand will help us penetrate into this untapped market and makes us the only company who has launched this product specific to children needs."

Marketing general manager Vinod Gaikwad said: "Notty is 1st of its kind brand in the age 4-12 segment, Notty contains veg DHA in 2 exciting fruit flavours and we are very confident with the need for the product in this segment and the ever evolving tastes of the Indian consumer. Notty will be a fast growing brand in our portfolio."

Priced at INR35 ($0.65), the fruit-energy drink will be made available at retail outlets and beverage counters across India by the end of February 2013.
