The prestigious German brand Kronen has launched its latest GS Series automatic belt cutting machine, the GS20, for the processing of fruit and vegetables.
The main characteristics of these machines include their capacity to work automatically and to cut a wide variety of vegetable products in many different ways, just by changing the blade. "Simply by digitally adjusting two parameters in the control panel you obtain a thicker or thinner cut, so the versatility of these cutters is noteworthy. An example of this is the world famous GS10 model," explains Manel Ordóñez, Commercial Director of Danmix S.L.
Based in Cardedeu, in the Spanish province of Barcelona, Danmix S.L. is a firm devoted to importing and exporting machinery for the food industry, as well as to providing solutions for sub-products generated by this industry's activities. The firm distributes the best brands of European machinery at a national level, and the German Kronen is one of them.
Among the improvements of the GS Series, the GS20 cutter incorporates:
• The cutting chamber door area has been redesigned to treat the product with more care.
• The product down-holder has been improved and the number of spare parts reduced.
• The machine incorporates inclined surfaces to improve hygiene and cleanliness.
• The shaft seals are made of stainless steel and screws have been removed from the cutting chamber, as well as any other element in the cutting area where food residues may remain, thereby preventing the spread of contaminants that affect the product's quality and safety.
• Incorporates lights that indicate the status of the safety sensors and a new locking system which, combined with the new belt cover, increases safety in the cutting area.
"Because of all this, Kronen's GS belt cutting machines are world famous for their high standards in quality and sturdiness," affirms Manel Ordóñez. Additionally, "Kronen GMBH is prestigious worldwide, and the thousands of units sold all over Europe during the past 30 years, as well as in other continents, are a testament to that. Our firm, Danmix S.L., is proud to have distributed its products in the Spanish market for slightly over a decade."
