McCormick & Co. has announced the creation of a new global industrial organization.
With the new organization, the company is promoting Chuck Langmead to the newly created position of president of global industrial. The new position will help spur sales growth by driving strategy consistently across McCormick’s industrial business worldwide.
Mr. Langmead has been with McCormick for more than 37 years, most recently in the position of president of Industrial Foods America. In his new role, he will have responsibility for McCormick’s industrial business globally and chair the company’s global industrial strategy council.
Additionally, Randy Carpenter has been promoted to president of U.S. Industrial Group and will report to Mr. Langmead. He has been with the company since 1983.
In a separate part of the business, the company announced Mark Timbie, president of Consumer Foods America and chief administration officer, will retire at the end of June.
