Core Tip: House Spirits Distillery has given a new look to its Aviation American Gin bottle that conveys the story of Aviation and House Spirits’ gin making-philosophy.
House Spirits Distillery, a Portland-based craft distillery co-owned by National Football League legend Joe Montana, has given a new look to its Aviation American Gin bottle that conveys the story of Aviation and House Spirits’ gin making-philosophy.

The newly designed bottle comes on the heels of House Spirits signing a distribution deal with Southern Wine & Spirits to expand the brand's footprint across the US.

Developed in partnership with a strategic brand design firm Sandstrom Partners of Oregon, the new design features a sleek clear glass bottle with new label bearing aircraft imagery and American typography.

House Spirits Distillery founder and co-owner Christian Krogstad said Sandstrom Partners helped them create the bottle with classic art deco look and feel, with a sense of balance and grace.

"As part of the design process, we also worked with leading bartenders to create a shape that's easy to grab and handle, while fitting nicely into a bartender's speedwell," Krogstad added.

House Spirits Distillery CEO and co-owner Thomas Mooney said, "We believe this eye-catching new design will continue to further position Aviation as a contemporary American craft spirit while also celebrating the distinctive nature of the gin itself."

The newly designed Aviation American Gin bottle is currently available for sale in retail stores across the US.
