Nestle Waters North America (NWNA) has introduced new remodeled bottle for resource Natural Spring Water, a premium natural spring water brand, which is completely recyclable.

The new remodeled resource bottle is made using 100% recycled plastic (rPET) and is available in 700ml and 1L sizes.

Nestlé Waters North America sustainability senior manager Debora Fillis Ryba said: "At resource, we believe that using recycled PET can help increase recycling rates by focusing attention on the value of recycling.

"Nestlé Waters has a strong history of sustainable innovation and product stewardship advocacy, and the 100% rPET bottle aims to continue that legacy by increasing awareness of closed-loop recycling."

Nestle intends to increase plastic (PET) beverage bottle recycling rates to 60% by 2018 and is working closely with policy stakeholders nationally and locally.

NWNA includes brands such as Nestlé Pure Life, Poland Spring, Perrier and S.Pellegrino and is claimed to be the third largest non-alcoholic beverage company by volume in the US.
