Baker brings 20 years of proven sales growth within the flavor industry to Ottens Flavors, specifically in beverages, savory and confections. He joins the company after serving as a senior account manager for Silesia, the global, German-based flavor company, where he was responsible for the company’s sales in the Midwest United States. He also previously served as senior account executive for FONA International and as account manager for the flavor division of J. Manheimer Inc.
“We are excited to have a veteran like Russ join our Sales team,” said Jeff Gerdes, vice president of Business Development and Marketing for Ottens Flavors. “His addition to our staff will enable Ottens to provide the highest level of commercial support to our clients in the Midwest. Russ will be working closely with our technical and marketing teams as well as our support staff to continuously enhance Ottens’ industry-leading service, which helps our identified customers get to market quicker with new products.”
Baker earned a bachelor’s degree in business from North Central College and a certificate of business administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
