Illinois-based drinks giant Beam has launched Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey with a new look throughout the US.
Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey, which is produced at Ireland's Kilbeggan Distillery, is a premium blended Irish whiskey crafted with grain and barley. It is double distilled in a 180yo pot still to produce smooth and flavorful whiskey.
The new packaging of the whiskey features the quality of the liquid and history of the brand and includes a new copper colored label shaped as the 180yo pot still used to make whiskey. The new design also features an image of the distillery, water wheel and the year the whiskey was founded 1757.
To support the launch, the company has also given the brand its first US marketing push since launch through a 360-degree campaign for St Patrick's Holiday. The campaign features print and digital executions, OOH creative and on-premise events showcasing the Ireland-produced whiskey's availability in the US.
Beam world whiskeys marketing director Bob Gorman said this is the perfect time to launch Irish Whiskey as it is becoming more popular among Americans.
"With our new campaign and packaging, Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey is now primed to contribute to the continued growth of the category," Gorman added.
