Smoothie Factory, a US-based juice bar, has entered into a master franchise agreement with ASK7 Enterprises to develop the brand in over 25 Caribbean countries.
As part of the agreement, ASK7 Enterprises will develop Smoothie Factory stores within the Caribbean Region and sub-franchising of the Smoothie Factory brand.
The agreement includes more than 25 Caribbean nations, including Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Bermuda.
The first store is slated to open in Cayman Islands in the second quarter of 2013, with plan to expand to the Dominican Republic in the next 12-18 months.
The menu in the new stores will feature a range of smoothies, including signature Factory Original, Strawberry Patche, Power Shots and Meal Replacement Smoothies.
The brand will also offer American foods like Peanut Butter Powerhouse along with smoothies including The Mango Smoothie and The Tropical Smoothie.
The company also plans to open stores in Jeddah and Dammam, Saudi Arabia; Delhi, India and Newfoundland, Canada.
