Core Tip: NetSuite has teamed up with eWinery Solutions to develop a cloud-based software VinSuite for the wine industry.
NetSuite, a California-based provider of cloud-based financials/enterprise resource planning (ERP) software suites, has teamed up with eWinery Solutions to develop a cloud-based software VinSuite for the wine industry.

The solution will provide wineries with required tools to transform business operations and compete at both national and international levels.

VinSuite will be built based on the NetSuite's SuiteCloud development platform, ERP, customer relationship management (CRM) and e-Commerce systems, and eWinery's knowledge and expertise in the wine industry and winery software development.

The wineries can manage operations like tasting room point-of-sale (POS) systems, email marketing, wine club membership, program management, allocations of inventories, order management, customer relationship management, and omnichannel sales including tasting room, telesales, B2B and B2C e-Commerce and global expansion.

eWinery Solutions founder and CEO Richard Kline said the wine industry has fell behind in technology development.

"Through this partnership, we can deliver solutions to help winemakers across the globe improve business efficiency, customer relationships, sales and growth while taking advantage of the economic benefits of cloud computing," Kline added.

"Current eWinery and Napa Valley POS clients will be migrated to the new platform, so this will represent a significant upgrade for our client base."
