Dining Alliance, a US-based restaurant chain, has entered into a six year agreement with Pepsi Bottling Group of Somers, New York to supply beverages to its 15,000 restaurants across the nation.
This partnership is expected to strengthen Pepsi Bottling Group's position in the foodservice sector.
Dining Alliance founder and president John Davie said: "Offering the innovative and unique Pepsi brands to our independent restaurant owners at a very competitive price will further assist them in competing in the highly competitive restaurant industry."
The PepsiCo bottler expects that this agreement will increase sales of its products in Dining Alliance's metro areas throughout New York State, Pittsburgh and Boston areas.
Pepsi Bottling Group business development manager Jim Stanton said: "We feel the portfolio of Pepsi products will give the Dining Alliance members a competitive advantage."
Pepsi Bottling manufactures, sells and distributes Pepsi-Cola beverages with operations in the US, Canada, Greece, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Turkey.
