Canadian frozen seafood company Tradex Foods has opened a new office in Vladivostok, Russia, a move designed to boost the company’s raw material sourcing.
The company, based in Victoria, British Columbia, announced the move this week, saying the new office will be “directly involved” with all sourcing and quality control of Tradex Feeds production out of Russia.
“Having a presence in Russia will enable Tradex Foods to go direct to the source of supply from Russian waters enhancing our raw material sourcing capacity,” the company said in a statement.
Tradex is known for producing frozen seafood products under the brand labels SINBAD and SINBAD Platinum.
