Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, an Irish-themed American restaurant, plans to open up to 60 new stores in the Middle East in the next five years.
The first of the planned outlets is set to open in Dammam in Saudi Arabia at the end of May 2013, followed by two more units in Kuwait City and Amman, Jordan by the end of this year.
Beef 'O' Brady's chief development officer James Walker was quoted by arabianbusiness.com as saying that the Middle East region supports the brand's development with its stable economies and a desire for American brands.
The first Beef 'O' Brady's outlet, under the plan, will open in Dammam as soon as the company finalises visas for some of the staff set to manage the restaurant.
Founded in 1985, the chain currently has 214 restaurants across the Middle East.
