US-based supermarket chain Stop & Shop has withdrawn several varieties of Lightlife Veggie Burgers as they may contain milk that is not mentioned on the ingredient label, following a recall by Lightlife Foods.

The products associated with the recall include 12 oz Lightlife Farmers Market Veggie Burgers and Lightlife Kick n Black Bean Burgers bearing UPC codes 4345480525 and 4345480526 respectively, with best before date of 16 July 2013 and 30 July 2013.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall.

Customers who have purchased the recalled products must discard or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumption of recalled products may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic or sensitive to milk.
