Yesterday, the US-China Business Council ( USCBC) announced that DuPont Chairman and CEO Ellen (Ellen Kullman) was elected the new Chairman of the Committee.
"US-China Business Council, established for 40 years, is an important organization to connect the business between the U.S. and China. It has witnessed many of the business progress between the two countries." Ellen said that.
USCBC is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organization. It has about 225 American member companies operating in China. 2013 is the 40th anniversary of USCBC. And it services members of these two countries through offices located in Beijing, Shanghai and in the headquarter Washington.
Ellen said USCBC had done an estimate by adding China’s exports profits and foreign sales together, and found that China was a at least $ 250 billion market for U.S. companies.
