Red Jacket juice, a premium line of 100 percent cloudy fruit juices, cold-pressed at Red Jacket Orchards in New York's Finger Lakes region, expands into more than 220 ShopRite stores.
In the business for more than five decades, third-generation family-owned Red Jacket Orchards is now bringing ShopRite consumers in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania access to the company's unfiltered apple-based juice blends. Available options include 32-ounce bottles of Strawberry, Raspberry, and Fuji Apple.
"For decades we've married health and exceptional taste within each bottle of our freshly crafted juices," notes Brian Nicholson, a third-generation owner of Red Jacket Orchards. "Unlike our competitors, we believe remarkable flavor and nutrition mingle naturally when simplicity and respect for the fruit is top-of-mind."
Cloudy, cold-pressed, unfiltered, flash-pasteurized, Red Jacket juices contain no additives and are never crafted from concentrate, the company notes. Numerous studies demonstrate that cold-pressed juices that are unfiltered and cloudy are at least 50 percent more effective in antioxidant activity than highly processed, clarified juice (often made from concentrate), Red Jacket points out.
