Procesadora Torre Blanca (PTB), a member of Grupo Ransa (under Grupo Romero), announced that the world's largest supermarket chain, Walmart, has recently become its new client for the supply of citrus and avocados.
All of Walmart's providers must strive to apply a series of strict policies, with some standards such as maintaining safety in the supply chain and meeting the ETI regulations (Ethical Trading Initiative), related to working conditions (no discrimination, safe working environment, free employment, among others).
Torre Blanca managed to certify its processing lines for citrus, avocados and asparagus at its plant in Huaral.
