901 Tequila, a brand of tequila co-founded by Justin Timberlake and Kevin Ruder in 2009, has signed a deal with Hi-Spirits to distribute the brand in the UK.
Produced in small batches at Destileria Santa Lucia, the 901 Tequila is triple-distilled from 100% blue Weber agave sourced from Jalisco, Mexico.
901 president Kevin Ruder said 901 Tequila has been extremely well received by their distributors, cocktail experts and most importantly, consumers during their first four years in the American marketplace.
"We look forward to continuing to build the brand with Hi-Spirits in the UK," Ruder added.
Hi-Spirits managing director Dan Bolton said Justin Timberlake's deep respect for the heritage and quality of tequila has led to the development of a genuinely premium spirit which has a wide appeal.
The 40% ABV silver tequila will be available at on- and off-trade retailers with an off-trade recommended retail price of £32.85 per 700ml bottle.
