Caledonia Sprits has expanded the distribution of 375ml and 750ml bottles of its Barr Hill Gin and Barr Hill Vodka throughout Connecticut in collaboration with Worldwide Wines.
Barr Hill Gin, a 90 proof spirit, includes a blend of botanicals added in a custom designed and built botanical extraction still along with 5% pure raw honey added after distillation.
Barr Hill Vodka, an 80 proof drink, created using raw northern honey. It is free of added grains or potatoes.
The gin and vodka brands will receive Kosher Certification in the coming weeks.
Caledonia Spirits founder and beekeeper Todd Hardie said that this distribution deal will expand the company's reach throughout the East Coast.
"It's important that we work hard first and foremost in our backyard," Hardie added.
Barr Hill Gin and Barr Hill Vodka were distilled in Caledonia Spirits' custom built stills, with fermented honey and Caledonia.
