SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia Sweet Drops Vanilla Crème was awarded the Stevia Tasteful Award 2013 by the World Stevia Organization at the recent Stevia Tasteful 2013 gathering in Paris. The award recognizes the best-tasting finished stevia product in the world.

This is the third WSO best of the year award for SweetLeaf, and the 11th taste recognition overall. Last year, Sweet Drops Chocolate was named the WSO Best Stevia Product of the Year, and SweetLeaf Stevia Extract was named Best Extract. The latter award covers stevia used as an ingredient.

“Thanks to the World Stevia Organization for recognizing the superior taste of Vanilla Crème Sweet Drops, one of our best-selling flavors among our 17 Sweet Drops liquid stevia products,” says James May, President and Founder of Wisdom Natural Brands, parent company of SweetLeaf. “We are proud both consumers and critics enjoy the delicious flavor and no bitter aftertaste.”

Vanilla Crème Sweet Drops is packaged in easy-to-use two-ounce dropper bottles, available nationwide and online. As with all SweetLeaf products, it is made from Non-GMO and USDA Certified Organic stevia extract and natural flavors. Sweet Drops are gluten free with zero calories, zero carbohydrates and zero glycemic index.

The non-profit WSO was formed in Paris to promote stevia as a sustainable and natural sweetener to counter the pandemics of obesity and diabetes sweeping the western world. James May has been active for more than 30 years in championing stevia to governmental and commercial interests around the world.

SweetLeaf products have won more international taste awards than any other stevia manufacturer. SugarLeaf, which is made by bonding SweetLeaf Stevia to cane sugar, was a finalist at the prestigious 2013 Nutracon NutrAwards for Best New Finished Product and was singled out by Progressive Grocer as a 2012 Editors’ Pick. SweetLeaf also was recognized as the 2012 award winner for best-tasting stevia product by the International Society of Antioxidants in Nutrition and Health. SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia Chocolate Sweet Drops was awarded 93 out of 100 possible points as a winning product for “intense, versatile taste that goes a long way with just a drop or two” by food trends editor, NBC “Today” show correspondent, and “supermarket guru” Phil Lempert.

SweetLeaf is the only all-natural stevia sweetener with zero calories, zero carbohydrates and zero glycemic index. SweetLeaf is sold in a variety of innovative formats: Packets, tablets, liquid flavor drops, and bonded to cane sugar as a blend for cooking and baking.
