Sunny Sky Products, a manufacturer and distributor of specialty dispensed beverages, has purchased Turbo Energy Drink in an all cash transaction.
Founded in 2007 by Chris Hannemann, Turbo Energy Drink is a provider of bag-in-box energy drinks to the on-premise and convenience store channels. It is available in four flavors - Regular, Diet, Orange and Blue Revitalizer.
The acuisition is expected to increase the distribution of Sunny Sky's beverages into the on-premise bar & nightclub channel.
Sunny Sky Products CEO Ashley Edens said that the company acquired Turbo Energy Drink to expand its overall market penetration as well as strategic reach into the on-premise channel.
"Energy drinks are an ever-growing and relevant beverage category; I am proud to add Turbo Energy to our portfolio and add Hannemann to our team," Edens added.
Turbo Energy Drink co-founder Chris Hannemann will serve as vice president for Sunny Sky Product's on-premise division.
