Yoplait has introduced a new yogurt Fruitful in six flavors, Pineapple, Strawberry, Mango Pineapple & Orange, Blueberry, Peach and Cherries & Red Berries.
The company said that Fruitful, a yogurt blended with 1/3 cup real fruit in each cup, contains less than ten ingredients and no artificial flavors or sweeteners are added to the product.
Yoplait associate marketing manager Laura Arcieri said: "Many people like to stir their own fruit into yogurt, so Fruitful allows them to skip that extra step and dip their spoons right into a feel-good treat."
Yoplait Fruitful is currently available at majority of retail outlets in select regions across the Central and Midwest US and has an MSRP of $1.19 per 6oz. cup.
In the US, Yoplait is manufactured by General Mills. Headquartered in Minnesota, US, General Mills had fiscal 2013 worldwide sales of $17.8bn. Its consumer brands include Cheerios, Fiber One, Haagen-Dazs, Nature Valley, Yoplait, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Green Giant and Old El Paso.
