US-based Togo's Eateries has inked two multi-unit franchise agreements with an existing franchise group Fischer to open 20 new outlets across Oregon and California over the next several years.

This latest development is part of the chain's strategy to operate 400 outlets along the West Coast.

Togo's Holdings chairman and CEO Tony Gioia said that the latest agreement demonstrates the commitment of the company's dedicated franchisees, as they continue to expand Togo's footprint in new and existing markets.

"As the best franchise opportunity in the sandwich category, our franchisees recognize the strength of the brand and are passionate about providing guests with an exceptional, one-on-one, deli-style experience, which has ultimately driven our success," added Gioia.

Currently, Fischer and his partners own and operate two restaurants in Stockton and Tracy, California. Further, the franchisees are all set to open new locations in California at Fairfield and Lodi, later this year.

Founded in 1971, Togo's is a franchise-based business that offers online ordering and catering services at its nearly 250 locations along the West Coast.
