
The restaurant is located at 1475 Williamsbridge Road in the Bronx.
Those who receive a vaccination within two weeks of exposure to hepatitis A may prevent symptoms of infection. Those who have previously been vaccinated for hepatitis A do not need another vaccine.
Anyone who ate at the restaurant before Sept. 7 is advised to check with a medical professional to receive an evaluation for hepatitis A infection.
The health department will offer hepatitis A vaccinations starting tomorrow, September 21st at the Herbert Lehman High School, 3000 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10461 at the following times:
Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 2-8 pm
Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2-8 pm
Symptoms of hepatitis A infection include fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite.
This is the fourth hepatitis A warning New Yorkers have received in the past year. The other three include the Hamptons Drivers Seat Restaurant, the Manhattan Alta Restaurant, and the Westside Market.
