Northern IMakro labelling machinesrish contract bottler Norbev, have just installed a Makro Labelling MAK-4 three-station modular labeller.

The machine will initially be equipped with 3 wet glue labelling stations to label 1ltr and 850ml conical PET bottles for Ribena.

However, it is being reported that a major deciding factor in placing the order with Makro was the ability to add self-adhesive and hot-melt labelling stations in the future, giving Norbev ultimate flexibility in label dress application.

Richard Portman, Managing Director of Makro UK said, "We have been working with Norbev on this project for some time and we are naturally delighted to have convinced a contract packer of Norbev's stature, who handle such prestigious brands such as Ribena, that the features we offer as standard on the Makro labellers will be of long term benefit to them".

Norbev are located in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and employ over 80 staff. Over the past couple of years they have been awarded various UK Government grants.
