Total value of catch of Icelandic vessels amounted to ISK 6.9 billion (USD 57.6 million, EUR 42.5 million) in the first six months on 2013, down from ISK 81.2 billion (USD 677.6 million, EUR 500.3 million) in the first six months of 2012.
Total value of demersal species accounted for ISK 48.3 billion (USD 403 million, EUR 297.5 million). Cod accounted from ISK 24.7 billion (USD 206 million, EUR 152.2 million) of the total, haddock for ISK 6.3 billion (USD 52.6 million, EUR 38.8 million), and redfish for ISK 7 billion (USD 58 million, EUR 43 million). Total value of pelagic species accounted for ISK 20 billion (USD 166.9 million, EUR 123 million) and flatfish catches for ISK 5 billion (USD 41.7 million, EUR 30.8 million).
