Restaurant chain Burger & Beer Joint has firmed up plans to expand its retail presence in the US and overseas.

Burger & Beer Joint is planning to open 50-stores through franchised and corporate units over the coming years.

As part of the expansion, the chain has signed a 10-store franchise agreement to open stores thoughout Florida and Georgia. Recently, Burger & Beer opened its third store in South Florida (Pembroke Pines).

B&B Joint Founder and CEO Tony Hannan said, "The B&B Joint units are averaging almost five times the average unit sales of a typical quick service burger concept."

B&B Joint presently has two units in South Beach and Mary Brickell Village (Miami).

"With two solid units with strong revenues, we saw this as the time to grow the brand rapidly," added Hannan.

The chain offers Certified Angus Beef burger ranging from 8 to 10 ounces, signature burgers as well as the unique sauces, toppings, ten-pound Mother Burger, the fried twinkie with ice cream, fried zucchini sticks and adult milkshakes.
