Core Tip: Quest Water Global has inked a contract manufacturing agreement with Tecnologia del Pacifico.
Quest Water Global, a Canadian water technology firm and developer of the AQUAtap Community Drinking Water Station and WEPS Water Extraction and Purification System, has inked a contract manufacturing agreement with Tecnologia del Pacifico.

As per the agreed terms, the company will manufacture AQUAtap systems in Baja California, Mexico for Angola, the Caribbean and Central America, and other markets across the world.

Quest Water claims that the agreement has been secured in anticipation of receiving initial purchase orders from Angola and Pure Water Solutions.

Commenting on the deal, Quest Water Global CEO and president John Balanko said that it was essential that the company secures additional manufacturing capacity to immediately support its marketing efforts in Africa, the Caribbean, and Central America, and be in a strong position to produce mass quantities of its AQUAtap system.

Tecnologia del Pacifico CFO and VP Operations Ward Hotze said, "The manufacture of Quest Water's innovative water purification system requires expertise to deliver intricate technical infrastructure and ensure high standards of consumer safety, which is the hallmark of our reputation."

In addition, the Mexican manufacturing plant will provide additional fabrication and assembly capacity to support increased production demand in other African countries, South America, and Asia.
