A series of television commercials aims to remind consumers of Smithfield Packing Company's culinary history and commitment to flavor.

"Flavor Hails from Smithfield" is the theme of four different TV ads that will highlight a different product line. The first of the four spots launched Oct. 21 and highlights Smithfield’s marinated pork product line. The company said the ad's imagery illustrates how the marinated pork loin makes preparing a dinner more convenient.

“At Smithfield Packing Company, we believe our pride in preparation, attention to detail and investment in future innovation, which seeks to inspire a next generation of flavors, make our products distinctively different,” said Will Brunt, vice president of Marketing. “This campaign exhibits Smithfield’s commitment to authentic flavor and enduring traditions, while celebrating the modern kitchens and consumers of today.”

Three additional television spots will air in November and February featuring the company's Bacon, Spiral Sliced Ham and Anytime Favorites product lines.

Smithfield Packing Company is part of Smithfield Foods, a subsidiary of Shuanghui International Ltd.
