Piper-Heidsieck has released a gift box range featuring three of its Champagnes, aimed at the Christmas market.
The range consists of three different-coloured gift packs, one each for its Cuvée Brut, Cuvée Sublime and Rosé Sauvage.
The 75cl Champagne gift packs are available from selected retailers including Morrisons, Asda and Sainsbury’s and carry rrps as follows: Cuvée Brut, £35.19; Cuvée
Sublime, £43.59; and Rosé Sauvage, £43.49.
Oliver Dickson, senior brand manager, said: “Christmas is the main event for Champagne sales, and as gifting in the off-trade is estimated to be worth £572 million
[according to First Drinks’ Market Report 2013], Piper-Heidsieck’s new packs present an exciting opportunity for retailers. Champagne is an accessible form of luxury and the new packaging adds value, giving shoppers even more reason to buy at a time when they are already looking for extra special gifts.”
Piper-Heidsieck has also announced it will launch its first-ever outdoor ad campaign in December to tie in with the festive season. Running with the strapline ‘Grand Soit la Vie’, which translates as ‘Let life be grand’, the adverts will appear in 15 high-impact sites around London and the south east.
