US-based Bar Louie, a casual-dining restaurant and neighborhood bar, has outlined plans to open nearly 100 new corporate and 100 franchise outlets across the US within the next five years.
This move is part of the chain's strategy to expand the brand presence nationally and strengthen the retail network.
The company planned 40 new openings for 2013 and 2014. As part of the expansion, Bar Louie is looking for franchise operators for store openings.
Further, Bar Louie has firmed up its plans for three more openings across Gainesville, Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina and Arlington, Virginia before year-end.
Last month, the restaurant operator planned to open four new outlets in Ashburn, Virginia; Rochester, New York; Minnetonka, Minnesota; and South Arlington, Texas.
Bar Louie chief executive officer John Neitzel said, "Having been around since 1990, we are thrilled at our momentum this year and look forward to expanding our brand's presence across the country. Founded in 1990, Bar Louie has more than 70 outlets across 25 US states.
