od business community FishChoice has added Verlasso as its only farmed Atlantic salmon supplier.The addition follows Verlasso’s “Good Alternative” rating by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program, which FishChoice uses to make purchase references.
“FishChoice has a proven track record of making it easy for seafood buyers to find sources of sustainable seafood they can trust, and we’re so pleased Verlasso is the first farmed Atlantic salmon on the list,” said Scott Nichols, Verlasso director. “Our recent Seafood Watch buy recommendation, paired with our FishChoice listing confirms our sustainable farming practices and puts Verlasso at the forefront of sustainable salmon options for buyers to consider.”
In addition to listing Verlasso, all Verlasso distribution partners will be included on FishChoice.
