Krispy Kreme signs development deal to expand in North to Alaska

Krispy Kreme (KKD), a global retailer of premium-quality sweet treats, has signed an agreement with North to Alaska, for the development of four Krispy Kreme outlets in Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley over the next three years.

Based in Anchorage, North to Alaska currently operates Sourdough Mining Company Restaurant, Peanut Farm Sports Grill, McGinley's Irish Pub, and two Firetap Alehouse locations in Alaska.

Krispy Kreme currently has over 240 shops in the US, of which approximately 150 are franchised. Additionally, the company has over 540 locations in 22 countries outside the US, all of which are franchised.

North to Alaska managing partner Jack Lewis said, "My partners and I look forward to turning on the very first Hot Doughnuts Now sign in Alaska. We know our fellow Alaskans will truly enjoy the unique and delicious experience that is Krispy Kreme."

Founded in 1937, Krispy Kreme operates over 790 outlets in 23 countries around the world.
