TruFoodMfg, a US-based contract manufacturer of snack foods, has employed the Deacom Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline its manufacturing operations.
The food maker has been seeking to replace its partially implemented and complex ERP system, as part of expansion plans and opening of a second manufacturing plant, according to Deacom.
It identified that the existing system was unable to handle impending and significant changes to its operations such as introduction of new product lines and geographic locations.
The company believes that the new platform easily supports its entire manufacturing process from recipe to shipment, reinforcing their quality control.
TruFoodMfg Procurement director Brian Rosenbaum said, "We want a partner that can get our new facility up and running very quickly, provide us guidance throughout the process, and ultimately help us elevate our business to the next level.
"We have been very impressed with Deacom's unique model, level of industry expertise and genuine concern for the success of our implementation, and we are fully confident that we've made the best decision for the future of TruFoodMfg."
TruFoodMfg manufactures snack food products, protein and nutrition bars, and chocolate candy products for some of the leading brands.
