This Sunday, the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (ISM) will open its doors, with over 1,450 suppliers from around the world joining to participate in the fair.
Held in Cologne from January 26-29, ISM is one of the most important information and business platforms for the sector, attracting a top-class trade public of about 35,000 buyers. With good registration figures in all segments and the return of well-known companies, the upcoming ISM looks certain to be a big domestic and international success.
The percentage of exhibitors from abroad has traditionally been high at ISM. In the coming year, more than 83% of the suppliers are expected to come from outside Germany.
Many well-known companies, including Gubor, Halloren, Haribo, Intersnack, Katjes, Krüger, Lambertz, The Lorenz Bahlsen Snack-World, Niederegger, Ragolds, Rausch, Rübezahl Schokoladen, Trolli, Ültje and Zentis, are among the 250 German companies which will also be represented at the ISM 2014.
The countries sending the most exhibitors are Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK and Switzerland. Large numbers of participants will also come from Brazil, China, Poland and the USA.
