Salts Worldwide, a sea salt provider, has expanded its product portfolio with Fleur De Sel, or Flower of Salt, a new gourmet grade kosher salt that is harvested by skimming the surface of salt ponds.
Fleur De Sel is a light product with moist texture, delicate flavor and high mineral content and is suitable for addition with various foods from salads and meats to vegetables and chocolates, the company said.
All the company's products are claimed to be kosher grade, certified natural, with the trace minerals and elements that nature intended.
Salts Worldwide, meanwhile, is expanding wholesale opportunities, allowing more retailers to sell its Himalayan Salt, Black Lava Hawaiian Salt, Black Salt, French Grey Salt, Red Alaea Salt and other salt varieties.
