The European Commission and the Russian authorities have agreed to products containing pig meat exports to Russia to reopen. Food Safety Authority Evira, the Finnish first products containing pork could be exported to Russia since the end of week 8.
Pork and pork meat preparations still can not be exported to Russia. Negotiations on export of these products start of the European Commission and the Russian authorities.
Pork and live pigs from across the European Union to Russia came to a halt in Lithuania found in African swine fever in january end of 2014. In early February, came to a halt in pork containing products such as sausages, cold cuts and salami exports to Russia.
