Pasta manufacturer San Remo has launched a new Slimmers’ Selection gluten-free pasta range, designed to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
San Remo said the Slimmers’ Selection range has “only 41kJ per serve” and is “low carb and low salt, and does not contain any fat, egg, dairy, gluten, soy or sugar”.
San Remo was founded in 1936 by Luigi Crotti. It remains a privately owned 100 per cent Australian company. The Company was among the first food manufacturers to support and foster supermarket distribution as this way of shopping became established in Australia.

San Remo has a wide range of pasta products and sauces and also offers a range of “La Pasta” pasta and sauce side dishes.
The Slimmers’ Selection Angel Hair and Spaghetti varieties are available through IGA supermarkets, while Woolworths supermarkets will stock the Spaghetti variety.
