Cowboy Charcoal, maker of top selling natural hardwood lump charcoal, chips and chunks, announced the availability of its premium products at Target and The Home Depot Stores across Canada.

Effective immediately, Cowboy Charcoal's 4kg bag of hardwood lump charcoal is available for $8.99 (MSRP). Its 180cu bags of Hickory, Mesquite or Apple Wood Chips are now available for $5.48 (MSRP) at The Home Depot and $4.99 (MSRP) at Target.

Cowboy natural lump charcoal burns hotter and cleaner than standard composite briquets, which are generally comprised of borax, limestone, sodium nitrate, starch, anthracite coal or lignite coal, sawdust and wood char. Cowboy's higher heat-producing lump charcoal is ideal for creating the perfect sear on grilled foods, and the clean-burning, natural hardwood provides a hearty smoke flavor that enhances any grilling experience.

Cowboy's smoking wood chips are a healthy, zero-calorie, no-sodium and no fat way to add subtle, smoky flavor to your grilled foods. They are perfect for gas or charcoal grills.

"We are thrilled to introduce our brand to the Canadian marketplace," said Don Crace, president of Cowboy Charcoal. "Our presence in Canada opens up a world of opportunity. We look forward to demonstrating to barbecue enthusiasts throughout the country the benefits of using natural, quality made grilling products."
