A fish farm in Scotland is among the finalists for the 2014 Marks & Spencer (M&S) Farming for the Future Awards.
Eday Fish Farm in Orkney is owned by Scottish Sea Farms, a joint subsidiary of Leroy Seafood Group and SalMar. The annual awards are for M&S suppliers, and are designed to recognize sustainable farming practices.
“As a retailer M&S is known for its high standards and we were able to demonstrate our commitment in the areas of sustainability, ethics and education in the Orkney area,” said Richard Darbyshire, Scottish Sea Farms’ regional production manager.
