Tennessee Distilling sells Collier and McKeel Whiskey brands to Californian firm

The integration is expected to be completed over the next few months.

Tennessee Distilling Company president Mike Williams said finding the right partner to carry on the legacy of these brands was important to the company.

"I really wanted to find a partner that could take Collier & McKeel forward and carry on the Tennessee tradition of this company," added Williams.

Collier and McKeel is made about a mile from the Tennessee State Capitol in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee in its own distillery.

Brindiamo Group played an advisory in the transaction. It is a consultancy firm that focuses on global wine and spirits industry with offices in the USA and in Europe.
